Our BEAUTIFUL new wedding equipment arrived!

A Triton shell horn from http://www.conchking.com/ (all KINDS of high-end shell products:  horns, oil lamps, necklaces, trophies, amazing household art, etc). The conch (say "conk") and triton shell horns are used like trumpets for ceremonies in ancient and modern Hawaii, all the South Seas, Buddhist, Hindu, British, coastal Native American, and in modern American orchestras.

About  Triton Shell the website says:
Also called traditional Hawaiian Ceremonial Pu Horns - Truly unique horns that produce a sound like nothing else on earth Neptune was called the earth shaker, and after hearing his horns you will know why. These horns will shake the earth you are standing on and slowly untie your shoe laces! Truly the rumble and sound of Aum creation and eternity in a split second.

Our triton makes a smooth, deep low sound like a ship's fog horn...sounds like "oh-mmmmmmm." It takes a little practice to blow it right and sounds like a lovesick sea-moose when you blow it wrong! lol! Fun! n as a Ceremonial Hawaiian Pu Shell
